The Fit Lab Spring Classic is a 4 person competition made up of Male/Male/Female/Female teams.

Each team will choose to compete in either RX or Scaled division when registering. More information on divisions below. There are a limited number of spots in each division so book your spot quickly!

Teams will pay $400 for Early Bird tickets ($100 per person paid by the captain of the team). Early Bird pricing ends March 31st and price will increase to $440 per team.

Price includes participation in the event, a comp t-shirt, and a swag bag loaded with goodies from our sponsors. Top 3 teams in each division will also be awarded prizes. Due to shirt printing times, April 11th is the last day to register for shirts.

RX Division:

This division is for your team if you are comprised of experienced intermediate athlete or advanced athlete. If you and your team mates complete many workouts RX (as written with no scales), this category is for you. One person on the team must be able to:

Snatch 135/95+

Clean 185/125+

Thruster 135/95+

Back Squat 225/155+

Strict or Kipping Handstand Push Ups

Chest to Bar Pull Ups

Muscle Ups, Bar and Ring

Handstand Walk

Toes to Bar

Double Unders

Rope Climb

Scaled Division:

This division is for your team if you’re a beginner or a newer intermediate athlete. If you and your team typically scale workouts, this category is for you. The events will be designed to be approachable by all athletes in the division.

At least least one on the team must be able to:

Snatch 85/55+

Clean 125/85+

Thruster 95/65+

Back Squat 155/105+

Standard Push Ups

Jumping chin over bar pull-ups

Lunges per CrossFit Open Standards

Wall Walks per CrossFit Open Standards

Knees raises above 90

Workouts will be released before the event to allow teams to practice and strategize. Many of the events will have a strategy component, so make sure to plan with your team! These will be posted on our social media and Facebook competition page (link below).

The event will start promptly at 8am on Saturday, May 17th and plan to go until early afternoon. Specific schedule for the day will be released when team numbers are finalized. We have a large parking lot surrounding the building for easy access to the event with overflow parking directly across the street. We will also have spaces marked off with cones for teams to set up tents directly outside of the gym doors.

These are not in the order that you will do them during the competition. We will release 1 workout each week until all workouts are released, so all team will have time to test workouts.

THIRD WORKOUT RELEASED

Synchro MayhemAMRAP 9

Teams will split into pairs and work with their pairs. Pairs may trade out as needed. Stay in same team

20 Synchro HSPU (feet elevated (2x45# plates) push-ups)

20 Synchro T2B (knee raises)

20 Synchro CTB (Pull-ups)

20’ HS walk (40’ bear crawl)

*only 1 of the pair works on the HS walk

*5’ increments for HS walk

SECOND WORKOUT RELEASED

Elizamanda 10 Minute EMOM

Teams split into 2 pairs and work together to finish their workout. Partners may trade work as needed. Pairs only work during their time domain.

Every minute on the minute each pair must trade. Only 1 pairs works at a time. Ex Pair 1 only works 0:00-1:00, 2:00-3:00, 4:00-5:00 and Pair 2 1:00-2:00, 3:00-4:00, 5:00-6:00.

Barbell Complex: 1 Deadlift + 1 Hang Clean + 1 Shoulder to Overhead

Bike: Calories

0:00-4:00 M1/M2 Will each record the heaviest successful weight in of the complex and total combined echo bike calories

4:00-8:00 F1/F2 Will each record the heaviest successful weight in of the complex and total combined echo bike calories
